Paytrust posts all of your bills in your online Paytrust account. Companies with e–bill support will send your bills electronically to Paytrust. Your paper bills will be scanned by Paytrust and then displayed online. You can view all your bill details as well as access your bank account without leaving the website. You can print your bills and view your records for up to one year online and they archive your records offline for up to eight.

Paytrust helps you track bills with exactness so you never forget a payment or worry about late fees. You will receive alerts when new bills have arrived, bills are coming due, an expected bill didn’t come and when payments have been received. You can also make online notes to yourself about particular bills and export your information to Microsoft Excel CSV format.

Payment Features:  

Paytrust has the capability of sending electronic payments as well as paper checks enabling you to pay anyone. You maintain complete control of your payments including when, how much and if at all. Paytrust only makes payments authorized by you. You may authorize payments individually each month or you can set up recurring payments at your convenience. Payments can be made from one or more accounts as long as they have check writing ability.

Ease of Use/Setup:  

To get started using Paytrust you first enroll on their website giving them your information. Paytrust will then assist you in getting your bills sent to them electronically or through the mail. You choose which bills and how many are received by Paytrust. You can still receive your bills at home and use the Paytrust services to pay them. When changing your billing address to that of Paytrust, make sure your payees understand that your home address and your billing addresses are different.

Paytrust offers email and telephone support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They also have a thorough FAQs page posted online.

This service is offered through a partnership between Intuit and Medavante Payment Services, LLC. Since security is of major importance regarding these types of services, Intuit has required Medavante to agree to their strict security and privacy guidelines. However, you do have to opt out of Intuit’s promotional offers if you do not want to receive advertising from them.
